This website is operated by The Grumpy Lawman LLC. Throughout this website, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to The Grumpy Lawman LLC.

By visiting thegrumpylawman.co, using this website, or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service and all policies referenced within them. Please read these terms carefully before using the website or placing an order.

Do not use this website or purchase our products unless you agree to these terms.

1. Online Store Terms

By using this website, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement or that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required.

You may not use our products, website, or services for any unlawful, fraudulent, unauthorized, or prohibited purpose.

You may not:

  • Submit false information;
  • Use stolen or unauthorized payment information;
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the website;
  • Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to customer, business, or website information;
  • Copy or commercially exploit our content without permission; or
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.

A violation of these terms may result in cancellation of an order, suspension of access, refusal of future service, or other appropriate action.

2. Independent Brand Disclaimer

The Grumpy Lawman LLC is an independent apparel and merchandise company.

The Grumpy Lawman, Lt. Toombs, Sgt. Rambo, its website, products, advertisements, social-media content, artwork, and promotional materials are not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or endorsed by any sheriff’s office, police department, law-enforcement agency, government agency, county, municipality, state, or other governmental entity.

Law-enforcement-inspired titles, themes, artwork, uniforms, badges, patches, characters, phrases, or symbols are used solely for entertainment, artistic, branding, and merchandise purposes.

Nothing on this website should be interpreted as an official government statement, agency communication, law-enforcement instruction, or representation of government authority.

3. Products and Services

We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, images, colors, sizes, prices, and other details accurately.

Actual products may vary slightly because of:

  • Screen or device settings;
  • Lighting;
  • Printing methods;
  • Garment materials;
  • Manufacturing differences;
  • Product availability; or
  • Minor differences in print placement, color, sizing, or texture.

These minor variations do not automatically constitute a defect.

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue a product;
  • Limit quantities;
  • Restrict sales by customer, location, or jurisdiction;
  • Correct product descriptions or pricing;
  • Cancel orders affected by errors;
  • Refuse suspicious, fraudulent, or abusive transactions; and
  • Change products or prices without prior notice.

4. Orders

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance.

We may refuse, limit, hold, verify, or cancel an order for reasons including:

  • Suspected fraud;
  • Unauthorized payment activity;
  • Incorrect pricing;
  • Product unavailability;
  • Inventory errors;
  • Duplicate or unusually large orders;
  • Resale activity;
  • Previous chargebacks;
  • Policy violations;
  • Incorrect customer information; or
  • Other legitimate business or security concerns.

We may require additional identity, billing, shipping, or payment verification before processing an order.

When we cancel a paid order, an approved refund will be issued to the original payment method.

5. Prices, Taxes, and Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

Customers are responsible for reviewing:

  • Product prices;
  • Quantities;
  • Discounts;
  • Shipping charges;
  • Taxes;
  • Billing information;
  • Shipping information; and
  • The total purchase amount before completing checkout.

Applicable taxes will be calculated and collected where required.

You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted with your order and that all information provided is complete and accurate.

We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing, promotional, or technical errors. When an order is affected by such an error, we may cancel the order and refund the amount paid.

6. Discounts and Promotions

Discounts and promotional codes:

  • Must be entered before checkout is completed;
  • Cannot be applied retroactively;
  • Cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • Cannot be combined unless specifically permitted;
  • May be limited by product, quantity, customer, date, or availability; and
  • May be changed or discontinued at any time.

Failure to apply a discount code before completing checkout does not entitle the customer to a refund, cancellation, credit, or price adjustment.

We may cancel orders involving unauthorized, manipulated, duplicated, or improperly applied discounts.

7. Shipping and Fulfillment

Most products are produced, printed, packaged, or prepared after an order is placed.

Please allow up to 14 calendar days for processing and fulfillment before shipment unless another timeframe is stated on the product page.

Processing time is separate from carrier transit time. Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Orders are also governed by our Shipping Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service.

If we cannot ship within the promised timeframe, we will provide a revised estimate or other option as required by applicable law. Federal rules generally require online sellers to ship within the stated timeframe and address delays appropriately.  

8. Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

We are not responsible for delays, misdelivery, loss, or returned packages caused by:

  • Incorrect addresses;
  • Missing apartment or unit numbers;
  • Outdated addresses;
  • Incorrect names;
  • Invalid postal information;
  • Refused delivery; or
  • Failure to claim a package.

Address-change requests must be submitted promptly. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after processing or production begins.

Additional shipping charges may apply when an order must be resent because of customer-provided address errors, refused delivery, or failure to claim the package.

9. Returns, Refunds, Exchanges, and Cancellations

All purchases are governed by our separate Refund, Return, Exchange & Chargeback Policy, which is incorporated into these terms.

Unless otherwise stated in that policy:

  • All sales are final;
  • We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, sizing preference, or incorrect customer selections;
  • Order changes and cancellations are not guaranteed;
  • Orders cannot be canceled once production or fulfillment begins; and
  • Claims involving damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect merchandise must be submitted within the timeframe stated in our policy.

Georgia generally permits businesses to establish their own return policies, but businesses must honor the policies they publish.  

Nothing in these terms eliminates any consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers should contact us first regarding any order concern so we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

A chargeback should not be used as a substitute for:

  • Contacting customer service;
  • Reviewing tracking information;
  • Following our claim procedures;
  • Requesting an available remedy; or
  • Complying with our posted policies.

Nothing in these terms prevents a customer from exercising legitimate rights provided by a bank, card issuer, payment provider, or applicable law.

We may dispute chargebacks that we reasonably believe are false, fraudulent, abusive, inaccurate, or inconsistent with our records.

Evidence submitted may include:

  • Order confirmations;
  • Billing and shipping details;
  • Customer communications;
  • Fraud-analysis information;
  • Product descriptions;
  • Policy acceptance records;
  • Production records;
  • Fulfillment records;
  • Tracking information;
  • Delivery confirmation;
  • Photographs;
  • Prior refunds or replacements; and
  • Other relevant transaction information.

We may refuse or cancel future orders associated with suspected fraud, false disputes, repeated abusive chargebacks, unpaid balances, or repeated policy violations.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content available through this website is owned by, licensed to, or used with permission by The Grumpy Lawman LLC.

Protected content may include:

  • Company and product names;
  • Logos;
  • Slogans;
  • Characters;
  • Artwork;
  • Illustrations;
  • Photographs;
  • Videos;
  • Product designs;
  • Graphics;
  • Website text;
  • Packaging;
  • Promotional materials; and

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, display, upload, sell, license, create derivative merchandise from, or commercially use our content without prior written permission.

Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of any intellectual-property rights.

12. Customer Content and Reviews

When you submit a review, photograph, comment, testimonial, social-media tag, or other content to us, you confirm that:

  • You created it or have permission to submit it;
  • It does not violate another person’s rights;
  • It is not knowingly false or misleading;
  • It does not contain unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or harmful material; and
  • It does not contain malware or harmful code.

You grant The Grumpy Lawman LLC a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, display, share, and repost content that you voluntarily submit or publicly tag us in for business and promotional purposes, subject to applicable law.

You retain ownership of your original content.

Nothing in these terms prohibits customers from sharing honest opinions, including honest negative reviews. Federal law protects consumers’ ability to provide honest reviews and prohibits certain contract terms that improperly restrict them.  

13. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use this website to:

  • Commit fraud;
  • Make unauthorized purchases;
  • Submit knowingly false disputes;
  • Impersonate another person;
  • Harass or threaten others;
  • Collect customer information without authorization;
  • Scrape or copy website content;
  • Resell counterfeit versions of our products;
  • Interfere with website security;
  • Upload harmful code;
  • Violate intellectual-property rights; or
  • Engage in unlawful activity.

We may restrict website access, cancel orders, preserve records, or report suspected unlawful activity when appropriate.

Shopify provides the platform used to operate the store, but The Grumpy Lawman LLC remains responsible for operating the store and complying with applicable laws and Shopify requirements.

Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using the website or placing an order, you acknowledge that certain information may be processed by service providers involved in payment processing, fraud prevention, fulfillment, shipping, customer service, analytics, or marketing.

16. Website Availability and Accuracy

We do not guarantee that the website will always be:

  • Available;
  • Uninterrupted;
  • Error-free;
  • Secure;
  • Free from harmful components; or
  • Completely accurate or current.

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any portion of the website at any time for maintenance, security, legal, operational, or business reasons.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that:

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Grumpy Lawman LLC and its owners, members, employees, contractors, fulfillment providers, agents, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Carrier actions;
  • Third-party services;
  • Loss of data;
  • Loss of profits;

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

This section does not require a consumer to indemnify us for conduct caused solely by The Grumpy Lawman LLC where such responsibility cannot legally be shifted.

These terms and any transaction with The Grumpy Lawman LLC will be governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Georgia, without improperly limiting mandatory consumer protections that may apply in the customer’s location.

21. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted or removed as necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

22. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision later.

23. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Legal Notice, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund, Return, Exchange & Chargeback Policy, constitute the agreement governing use of the website and purchases made through it.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically.

Changes become effective when published on this website unless another effective date is stated.

Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acknowledgment of the revised terms, subject to applicable law.

Material terms and disclosures should be clear, understandable, and easy for customers to locate before purchase.
